Rent statement error- what to do

We have received reports that some rent statements have been sent, in error, to the wrong addresses. 

It appears this is the result of an IT system error, operated by an external supplier.

Investigations into the cause and extent of the error are underway.

We advise anyone who receives wrongly addressed correspondence from us to destroy it.

We are working with our supplier to rectify the issue as quickly as possible and will be resending new rent statements in due course.

In the meantime, you can log onto your online Ongo account, My Home, to check your rent balance.

The matter has been reported to our Data Protection Officer who has liaised with the Information Commissioners’ Office.
