We're supporting the North Lincs Tour of Britain

We are proud to be one of the local sponsors for the North Lincolnshire stage of the Tour of Britain, which takes place on Tuesday 5 September.

The Ovo Energy Tour of Britain is a multi stage cycling race where cyclists race across various locations across Great Britain to complete in the fastest time. Stage three is based fully in North Lincolnshire, starting at Normanby Hall and finishing at Central Park in Scunthorpe. The route takes cyclists out to many rural locations across the county including Belton, Barton, Messingham, Wrawby and Hibaldstow.

We are sponsoring stage three and will be encouraging staff and tenants to get involved and show support on the day.

Lisa Fleming, Head of PR and Marketing, said: “We’re excited to be supporting this event and it’s great that this year, North Lincolnshire covers a whole stage of the Tour of Britain. We’ve got lots of staff getting involved to cheer on the cyclists at various points across the route, and we’re hoping to see a lot of our tenants joining in the celebration too.

“It’s important for us to support local events as they’re a great way to get North Lincolnshire on the map as place worth visiting.”

There will also be promotional stands in the trade village for Mi living and for Ongo in the promo zone, where people can come and chat about the services on offer, and the ways in which we support the local community.

A team of our staff will also be taking part in the Sportive event on Sunday 10 September.
