Ongo Talk Project Manager

Ongo Talk Project Manager (temporary for a minimum six months)

Ongo Communities is seeking to recruit a temporary Project Manager to deliver an inspirational project, which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESIF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programme. 

The Manager will be responsible for delivering the Ongo Talk project that provides counselling and life coaching for local people, and recruiting and managing a team of volunteer counsellors to deliver the service. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A counselling or clinical supervision qualification plus 2 years experience
  • Experience of working with and supporting disadvantaged people who may have low self esteem and low level skills
  • Self-motivated with a “can do‟ attitude, able to organise and prioritise own workload and be able to work alone, and with colleagues, without the need for close supervision
  • Desirable - Proven clinical supervision experience of both qualified and student therapists.

Salary  £29,517 (grade 7 standard)

37 hours per week

The position is externally funded and temporary for a minimum of six months.
