Homelessness
Are you, or do you know someone who is homeless, sofa surfing, temporarily staying with friends or family, or at risk of becoming homeless?
If you or a person you know need somewhere to live, Ongo Homeless Support Service may be able to help. We provide temporary homes and support to single people and aged 18 or over.
Our experienced staff will carry out an assessment to see how we can support each individual. If we feel it would be beneficial to that person, they could be offered accommodation in one of our shared community based homes, close to Doncaster town centre.
We also offer support, which includes helping with college courses, life skills, benefits, registering with doctors and dentists.
We also work with other agencies to make sure we access the best support package, and help address any additional problems. Every person that stays in our temporary housing will be expected to work positively with us and other agencies, so that together we can work towards a future where they are able to live independently in a settled home.
