Update on our gas and heating repairs service
UPDATE JANUARY 2023: NORMAL REPORTING PROCEDURES HAVE RESUMED
We are currently receiving an overwhelming demand for our repairs services, and in particular for gas and heating.
Unfortunately, due to this, we have taken the tough decision that from today we will only be dealing with emergency gas and heating repairs.
If you are having issues with your heating, we politely ask that before contacting us you check:
- There is credit on your gas meter
- The thermostat is set to the correct temperature
- If the pressure has dropped in your boiler you have refilled this pressure to 1.5 bars
- You have tried the reset procedure for your boiler
- You have thawed out your external condensate pipe with hot water if it has frozen
If you have checked the above and have no heat and hot water, we will book the earliest available appointment. However, this is unlikely to be the same day and it may take a couple of days for us to reach you.
We would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause, but we must prioritise those most in need at this time.
We will review this decision in January, when we hope to be in a better position. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
