Ongo unveils ambitious strategies for 2024-2029

We have announced the three key strategies which will set out how they will deliver their newly launched, five-year Corporate Plan.

These strategies tell the story of how we will provide high-quality housing and services, and create a sustainable, customer-focused organisation that delivers exceptional value and support to all our stakeholders.

  1. Be a Great Landlord
  • Objective: Ensure all homes are in good repair, safe, and located in well-maintained neighbourhoods.
  • Key examples of how they’ll achieve: At least 90% tenant satisfaction with repair times, overall repair services, and home maintenance by 2029, keeping tenants informed and acting on their feedback to foster a strong community spirit.

  1. Customer Focus
  • Objective: Invest in a professional, competent, and customer-focused workforce.
  • Key examples of how they’ll achieve: Enhance digital systems for better service delivery, aim for at least 90% overall customer satisfaction, and ensure the workforce reflects the diversity of the communities served. Regularly publish social impact data to highlight positive contributions.

  1. Growth and Sustainability
  • Objective: Meet the demand for affordable housing and ensure financial stability.
  • Key examples of how they’ll achieve: Add at least 1,200 new homes by 2029, design all new homes to be net-zero ready, and generate significant profits from commercial businesses to reinvest in community initiatives.

These strategies are set to be delivered by our colleagues, tenants and members of the wider community, with opportunities to be involved throughout.
