Networking event success at the Forge

On Wednesday 8 June we held a networking event at The Forge, where over 35 people from different organisations attended.

The day consisted of a networking buffet lunch followed by some of the services sharing who they are and what is happening within their organisations at the moment.

We heard from speakers from different services, including Approved Premises, Shelter, Nacro, We are with you, Housing Advice team, our Homeless team, Anville House, MIND, Foodbank, Humberside Police, North Lincolnshire Council, Talking Shop, Blue Door, Reset, The Forge, Social Prescribers, Citizens Advice, Nacro Bass and The Lighthouse.

Kelly Meacock, Employment Support Coach said, “The event was a great success. It has been brilliant to get so many people together and to have the chance to put a name to a face.

“This in an event we’re looking forward to continuing to host. I’d also like to thank everyone that attended and helped make the day a success.”

We will be hosting this event quarterly with the next event taking place at The Arc on Tuesday 27 September, from 2pm – 4pm.
