Meet Ongo Board member, Debbie Clegg

Debbie was appointed to the Ongo Communities Board in 2022.

Growing up in Scunthorpe, Debbie spent her teenage years in an Ongo house, attending a local school.

She now works for the NHS and has done for many years, as a Medical Workforce Manager, helping her to develop skills that are an asset to Ongo. 

Out of work Debbie is a keen cook and likes to ride horses , travel and go to live music events.

 She said: “I was delighted to be part of the Ongo communities Board and be able to support the outstanding work they do. 

“Until joining I didn’t realise the amount of support available to the community and I’m proud to be a part of that. 

“I feel fortunate to have visited many of the projects and see first-hand what great things are on offer and how involved members of the communities are.  

“I’ve seen the success stories and heard first hand from people who have received help and support.”
