Career advice and support fair
Our Communities team are hosting an event to help local people get into work and receive employment support.
Similar to Employability Day, which will be held later in the year, it’s an opportunity for organisations like us to showcase the opportunities and support we offer to help individuals. It is also a chance to celebrate successes over the last 12 months of helping individuals become work ready, secure their next step in their career, and highlight all the support available.
You are invited to attend our event hosted at our Cole Street office in Scunthorpe. It will take place on Thursday 27 June from 10am until 2pm and everyone is welcome.
On the day, you can:
- Get your CV reviewed by one of the employers attending
- Speak to one of our recruitment consultants
- Gain interview techniques and skills on a one-to-one basis
- Apply for current vacancies
- Learn about what free training is on offer.
The employers attending are:
- Ongo
- GS Kelsey
- Birch Chemicals
- Golf in Society
- Tayto (Golden Wonder)
*With more still to be confirmed.
Carol Richardson, Community Engagement and Volunteer Manager, said “This is going to be a fantastic event, with many opportunities for people either looking for work, looking for employment support or those wanting to find out more about what we do.”
There will also be colleagues from Ongo on hand to talk about the different services and projects that we have to help people become work ready, and for those looking to take the next step in their career. There will also be information about apprenticeships, volunteering and training available.
This isn’t an event to be missed. To book an appointment, get in touch with the team today on 01724 844848
