Market Hill residents support local hospice

Generous staff and tenants have donated over £800 to Lindsey Lodge hospice, thanks to a fundraising scheme we run.

Each year, staff from our Concierge Team and tenants from Market Hill host a range of events, fun days and raffles to raise money for their chosen Charities. So far Scunthorpe-based charity Lindsey Lodge Hospice, which is based on Burringham Road have received over £1,300 in total from their fundraising efforts.

Receiving the cheque, Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Andy Hirst said: “On behalf of everyone at the Hospice, I’d like to say a massive thank you to Ongo and everyone in the Market Hill towers and maisonettes for choosing to support us in this way it’s been a real community effort!”

Lindsey Lodge Hospice is run as an independent charity and provides specialist palliative care for day and inpatient patients with life limiting illnesses from North Lincolnshire, including symptom management, emotional support and end of life care.

Mari Johnson, Ongo Concierge said: “Here at Market Hill our staff and tenants put on fundraising activities each year to raise money for great local causes. It’s great to know that the money donated to Lindsey Lodge will make a real difference.”
