Fire at Sutton House

On Thursday 30 November, there was a fire at Sutton House, which is one of our tower blocks at Market Hill in Scunthorpe.

Humberside Fire and Rescue got to the scene quickly and dealt with the fire, with everyone being accounted for and all our tenants were back in their flats as soon as the fire brigade had finished their work.

Steve Hepworth, our Deputy Chief Executive has issued a statement: "We are aware of a fire on the fourth floor at Sutton House at Market Hill. The fire brigade has confirmed that everyone has been accounted for.

"They are at the scene at the moment dealing with this and we also have staff on site offering refreshments to our residents living there."

We will update this page if there is any further news, but we would like to thank all our residents living in the area for their support and cooperation.
